Founded in 970 AD, King’s Ely is one of the oldest schools in the world. The school boasts an array of magnificent historic buildings and continues to have close links with Ely Cathedral.
Students live in picturesque historic boarding houses, comfortably converted and well-led by caring Housemasters and Housemistresses. Academic standards are high and pupils are expected to give of their best at all times, taking responsibility for their own studies and thinking for themselves.
King’s Ely is a Centre of Excellence in Maths and Chemistry and the school is a recipient of the coveted NACE award for its excellent standard of teaching and learning.
